Information Collection and Use Practices

Newsletters

Information Sharing and Disclosure
Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)
ACVB may share aggregated demographic information about the ACVB user base with ACVB members, advertisers, and others in its sole discretion. This information does not identify individual users. We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information. Organizations that we work with to promote Anchorage as a community, such as the sponsors of Anchorage Fur Rendezvous,and the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, are typically given access to aggregated demographic information compiled by the ACVB.
Personally identifiable information
ACVB will not share e-mail addresses with any third party. Anchorage.net users may choose to solicit information directly from ACVB members by providing their e-mail address and other personal information to those members.
Personal information (excluding e-mail addresses) collected by ACVB will not be disclosed to any third parties at any time unless given expressed, explicit permission. E-mail subscribers will only receive the information they requested, and can change their e-mail subscription preferences at any time.
Any personal information collected by ACVB will not be disclosed to any third party, except that ACVB may make disclosures to appropriate law enforcement agencies as may be required or as may be deemed appropriate by ACVB. Information will be given to law enforcement personnel without a subpoena or court order whenever necessary to aid in identifying and prosecuting any person using our services for illegal activities.
Promotions that are hosted on www.AnchorageConventionCenter.com may be co-sponsored by ACVB and other companies, or may be sponsored by companies other than ACVB. Some or all of the data collected during a promotion may be shared with such sponsors or others as may be identified on the applicable entry form. Agents
