Alaska's Emerging Film Industry--This month, a major Hollywood production company will begin shooting a $30 million movie in Alaska, made possible in part to the state's film tax incentive program. Other film companies are following suit. Mike Devlin, cofounder and CEO of locally owned Evergreen Films, and David Worrell, manager of the State of Alaska Film Office, will discuss the tax incentive program and how local businesses can benefit from Alaska' emerging film industry. Cost: $21 for members, $25 for non-members (Reservation price)
